Dear CowBop - I could see your problem getting out of Santa Fe in a timely manner, that place is gorgeous. Last night we attended a benefit concert for PG middle school. The school’s big band started the show. They were very talented young kids and it made me think how important yours and other’s work is to these kids. Kenny Stall headed up the second incredible set, joined by George Young, Bob Phillips, Andy Wiess, an upright player from Santa Cruz and a Peruvian fellow on congas. SRO band completed the evening. What a treat! Tell Pammy if I could get an upright bass in the truck of one of those new T-birds, I’d be driving one in a split second. Obviously she has impeccable taste. Looks like you guys are headed for the finish line. We will miss your daily journal, which we read religiously. Love Michael & Bari

Hey you two...saw the add in the paper and was so "jazzed" called and contributed to your "bread and water" fund. Lo and behold, I told a "doctor friend" of mine about you and you had just left yesterday...The Chain of Rocks Bridge. I remember when that was open and there was a weekend carnival. Now when I tell stories of "watching sub-marine races" you'll know with a twinkle in your eye exactly where! My best to you. I thought I'd check in to see how you're doing. It looks like you're doing just great so far !Cowboy jazz at the Fox & Hound--wow, that's a great idea ! How clever !! It somewhat reminds me of Victoria's Hair on Stage up in Danville Ca. where there's a stage in the beauty parlor that actors use to perform theatre pieces for the customers while they get a perm. You can get your hair done AND get to see some Tennessee Williams without leaving your seat. The Fox & Hounds--I'll have to go by there next time I'm in that area. Best wishes to all. As a result of calling my mother, Wanda Etherton, on Mother's Day, I learned that a real swingin' kind of group was playing at my old giggin' location known as PJ's in Dawson, Il. Boy, am I jealous. I was born and raised on Western Swing, began playing fiddle my senior year in high school, went to college for a music degree at Millikin U. in Decatur, Il. and played a combination of Western Swing and Jazz with my two best friends in many clubs throughout Il., including PJ's. I served my post college years' musical tour of duty in a non-descript musical group traveling thorughout the midwest. Later, I finally pushed on and moved with my new bride (a former classmate at Millikin who sings just like Patsy Cline)to Nashville, TN. where I worked for a Country Music entertainer, TG Sheppard, logging up to 235 days a year on the road and . After 13 years, I hung up my road shoes, decided that a family was in-order and the two of us created a musically gifted little girl (bit of a TomBoy) who plays piano, just learned guitar and recently received her Black Belt in Tai Kwan Do this past November. Our many musician friends including Valarie Hunt from Ethel and the Shameless Hussies would love to support you and get involved with your pursuit. We want to come hear ya'll do your stuff and to possibly sit in and jam. How it that possible? Do you have any idea as to where you will be in the next couple days? Any special gig that you have written in stone? Signed, Old Fiddle Player and Country Singer, Eric
